Kyler James: Bio

I have led an unusual life, that’s for sure. As an actor, I studied with the late, great Stella Adler and played a number of little parts in major films and soaps. As a songwriter, I performed my nightclub act all over Manhattan, singing my songs at the piano. But I am best known for my work as a psychic counselor, which I’ve been doing in New York and London for twenty years. A graduate of NYU, my stories and columns have appeared in Next Magazine, Vice Magazine and Literary Vision Magazine. My novel, THE BIG RED TRUCK, won semifinalist in the Project: QueerLit contest. And an excerpt from my first novel was published in the Scroll of Thoth. My short story, “The Loneliest Man on Earth,” appears in the latest issue of Ashé Journal; and my article, “The Magical Path,” was published in a recent issue of Scroll of Thoth.
